SCOPE FOR AEROSPACE ENGINEERING

Students mostly prefer to take the road(stream) which is trodden by many people. They constrict their choice of  streams between ECE,EEE,IT,CSC and Mech .LET'S THINK BEYOND THE BLUE YONDER.Today I'm going to share with you the scope for aerospace engineering  in terms of career aspects within and outside India.I've also included in this  post the list of colleges that  provides this course  in India.

BRIEF INTRO
Aerospace Engineering is generally linked to aircrafts, it is not just the aircrafts that this branch of study deals with. Apart from aircrafts, it also deals with spacecrafts and airborne weapons technologies, and the technical aspects of each of these. The aerospace industry has applications in a wide range of areas ranging from commercial to military.
Over the years, the aerospace industry has gained major importance. It has encompassed one barrier after another and is still on an expanding path. Aerospace engineering is not a distinct branch of science. In fact, it has all its important basic concepts imported from other branches of engineering. At present, aerospace engineers develop technologies for use in civilian transportation, defense systems and space exploration.

COMPONENTS OF AEROSPACE ENGINEERING
Aerospace engineering deals with design and manufacture of aircraft or spacecraft structures, craft guidance systems, control and navigations systems, developing tools for communication and finally the production of the aircraft or spacecraft. Each of these areas of aerospace engineering is crucial for efficient functioning of the aircraft or spacecraft. Hence, aerospace engineering has been divided appropriately and knowledge is imparted to aspiring engineers in each of these areas along with the necessary practical training to equip them to deal with the challenges in this field.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
To secure a good aerospace engineering career in India, a strong foundation in education and training is required. That is why applicants should try their best to get in the best college. Admissions in these institutions are only by merit. That is why applicants should invest in their secondary education and hone their inherent talents.
This is a field which requires superior skills in mathematics, advance knowledge in different technologies, and a vigilant eye to spot details. Dealing with complex technologies such as missiles, aircrafts, and space satellites, engineers who wish to specialize in this field require further practice and education. To be eligible, one must attain certain educational requirements. First of all, the applicant must be a graduate of B.E.or B.Tech. In some Indian institutions would suffice.
IITs or Indian Institute of Technology is ranked best. The Indian Institute of Technology has a lot of colleges all over India. It can be found in Mumbai, Kanpur, Chennai, and Kharagpur.

                                   Scope in abroad:
A lot of job opportunities for aeronautical engineers are also available in the countries like United States of America, France, UK and Germany. Therefore, aeronautical engineers from India as well as from all other parts of the world flock to these countries. A good percentage of Indians constitute the work force of engineers and technical professionals in NASA.
 Scope in India:
In India aeronautical engineers are mostly employed by ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization) and the Defense Ministry. One can also look for jobs available with the Civil Aviation Department, National Aeronautical Laboratory, Defense Research and Development Laboratories (DRDO) and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL).
Many people choose to get an aeronautical engineering career in India because it has unlimited job opportunities. Both the private and public sector pay a considerable salary for aeronautical engineers. That is why fresh graduates can apply wherever they wish to. National or international, private or government agency, all of them offer opportunities for personal growth.
Although training in aeronautical engineering is both demanding and rigorous, it is truly a rewarding career. On the average, the entry salary ranges from 1.5 lakh to 3.0 lakh every year. Of course, the salary increases as the engineer gets more experience. Skilled Aeronautical Engineers earn from Rs 40,000 to 1.25 lakh every month. Based on your performance, you can get a higher salary or a lower one. This job career is loaded with vast amounts of challenge and opportunities. Truly, it is one of the best options to go for an aeronautical engineering career in India.
