A very popular college which is well known for its reputations ,so you students can get a seat in this college and try to get good marks .Regular revision of subjects are done here ,so without any hesitation students can study here.Students of very megre marks can also get a seat thro management seats allocated ,with some considerable donation fees.So my advice student cannot enjoy a lot here, because they impose studies on you, so kindly dont join here if you are not interested .thank you students and viewers .ALL THE BEST

Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering & Technology was established at Kalady in the year 2001 with the aim of providing value added technical education with flair of professional excellence and ethical values. The college is run by ADI SANKARA TRUST, a registered trust which has carved a niche in educational arena by running Sree Sankara College and Sree Sarada Vidyalaya, both at Kalady. The College is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam and offers under-graduate courses approved by AICTE. Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering and Technology, Kalady has been accredited with ISO 9001:2008 Certification. This is the first new generation Engineering College to get the prestigious international standards certification for the quality system of technical education.ISO standards control the quality aspects from the moment a student enters the campus. From that moment, the transformation of the student into totally competent Engineer is the responsibility of the institution. The Certification is done by KPMG quality Registrar and accredited by the Dutch Council of Certification. At present the management of ASIET is in the hands of DR. B S Krishnan, the Managing Trustee. DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRONICS AND ENGINEERING:

The Department provides excellent facilities to form globally competitive Electronics Engineers. A team of qualified and committed faculty members is providing quality education in order to make the students employable in industry as well as the field of research.

LAB FACILITIES:

The department provides state of the art laboratories equipped with high end equipments and other facilities to supplement the technical knowledge of the student. Experienced laboratory instructors are also keen in providing practical exposure to the students. Well equipped PCB Lab is another striking feature of the department.

DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING:

Department of Electrical and Electronics has been one of the most important attractions of our institution right from its inception. Department aims at moulding competent inception. Electrical engineers with comprehensive knowledge in Electronics, control and instrumentation. To keep pace with the needs if the industry, department organizes seminars and technical talks with the help of experts from KSEB, TELK, VSSC etc.

LAB FACILITIES:

The Lab facilities are the best available. The laboratories are designed as per the latest standards and they consist of :

· MATLAB simulation laboratory is an added attraction

The department has eminent visiting faculty delivering special lectures on modern trends in Electrical Engineering.

DEPARTMENT OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING:

Mechanical Engineering is one of the broadest areas of engineering with plenty of applications nearly every industry. The highly experienced faculty members of the department aim at the familiarizing the students with the fundamental concepts of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, theory of machines, heat and mass transfer etc.

Mechanical Engineering students are also given hands on experience in refrigeration, air conditioning, CAD, CAM, Cryogenics and TQM.

Hostel Facility

Arrangements have been made to provide good hostel facility for both boys and girls with strict overall supervision of the management.

The college has a mens hostel inside the campus that has the provision for accommodating around 50 students. As of now, during the development stage, the college also provides accommodation outside the campus for girls and boys. Additionally, a refined canteen is provided set in a clean and hygienic environment.

Library:

The college has a full fledged air-conditioned library with a fabulous collection of over 15,000 books in 3,000 titles and all the prominent journals and newspapers to keep the students well informed about the current trends in technical and non-technical scenario. The books in the reference section provide a deeper insight into the various subjects.
