FACULTY PROFILE:
Prof. A.D. Rajkumar, Principal.
Professor A.D. Rajkumar is the holder of B.Sc., B.E., M.Tech., & Ph.D. degrees having studied full-time at Osmania University colleges and at I.I.T., Madras. He has served the Osmania University in various capacities, notable among them being – Special Officer, Part-time Degree Courses in Engineering, Chairman, Board of Studies in Electrical Engineering, Head of the Electrical Engineering Department, and Vice-Principal of the Osmania University College of Engineering. He retired as the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Osmania University. He is on the Experts Panel of the All India Council for Technical Education and other important bodies.

The computer labs have about 670 HCL/ Zenith PCs with Intel®

DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY:
The department has an intake of 120 students per academic year. The department aim is to provide the students with a broad knowledge base in the fundamentals and techniques of the engineering sciences, required for engineering careers in a changing technical environment, to prepare them for successful participation in multi-disciplinary teams.

The College has a dedicated three-storied building with a total area of 1800 Sqms., for the exclusive use of Library and Postgraduates Research facilities. The College library has 34,340 books and 160 journals (including IEEE Journals) that cater to all the five branches of engineering, as well as other disciplines.
HOSTEL:
Our belief that a residential campus offers superior environment for academics has turned into a reality during 2009-10. Excellent and facilitative provision for Hostel accommodation is a major support service offered by CVR College of Engineering.
CANTEEN:
There is an excellent canteen on the college campus, which provides tasty, wholesome and hygienic snacks and meals to the students and staff. Water Coolers are provided in every floor with Ion Exchange treatment.
