INTRO ABOUT THE COLLEGE:
The Deccan College of Engineering and Technology was started in the year 1984. The college comes under Dar-Us-Salam Educational Trust. The college has 8 UG Engineering programmes (B.E) and 1 PG programme (M.C.A). Students acquire admission through EAMCET for B.E courses and through ICET for M.C.A conducted by the government of Andhra Pradesh. The college also affords managements seats for the students.

INFO ABOUT EACH DEPARTMENT:
CIVIL ENGINEERING:
The department of Civil Engineering has been running from the establishment of the college. It has the intake of 60 students per academic year. The department has eminent faculties and laboratories with well equipped materials.
ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATON ENGINEERING:
The department at the time of establishment had an intake of 30 students per year. After considering the importance of this department and its overall performance it has raised the intake up to 90 students per academic year. The department conducts personality development programmes for the students regularly and for improvement for the faculty members it allows to attend seminars, workshops, conferences etc regularly. The department conducts annual student event known as “Talent-e-Deccan” every year. The department arranges for industrial visit for the students of II, III and IV years.
ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING:
This department was started in the year 1999 with an intake of 40 students. Now the department has increased the intake up to 60 students per year. The best of the department is its lab facilities. Laboratories are provided with latest equipments. Without considering the cost all machines are kept for the students use. The department works for improving the knowledge of the students. Each every faculties of the department are talented and experienced.
MASTER OF COMPUTER APPLICATIONS:
It is the only post graduate course available in this college. It has improved its intake of students from 30 to 60. The department allows the students to take part in all symposium and seminars for their technical improvement.

Library of DCE&T provides books journals and project report for all departments. Library is well spaced and contains all the basic sections. The content of this college library is given below.

LABORATORIES:
This pays more attention on laboratories. Each and every department is provided with latest equipments and with required software. The laboratories are supplied with all basic equipments which are advanced to fulfil the requirements of the students. The laboratories are provided in a way that the students can use it for practical as well as research purpose.
PLACEMENT FACILITIES:
The college provides placement training for the students for their bright future and to revolutionize the corporate companies. The placement cell provides personality development programme for the students regularly. The college has collaboration with many leading companies in India and trying for collaboration with abroad. The are placed in corporate companies such as Microsoft, Infosys, Wipro etc.
