All the sudents of the department are the members of the IT Assocation. It develops students skills and overall personality by conducting various seminar, conference, technical discussions and guest lectures by eminent personalities in the IT industry.
NCCINS 07
A National Conference, NCCINS 07 was conducyed on March 7th , 2007. About 150 students from all over India actively participated in it and presented paper in various topics. The inaugural function was presided over by Dr.M.Karunanithi, Chairman and Secretary, Vivekanandha Educational Institutions and inagurated by Mr. V. Sukumar abd Mr. Himanshu Seth, HP Systems, Delhi.
DEPARTMENT OF EEE
The Department was started in the year 2002 and Accredited by NBA , New Delhi. In the year of 2009. We are Planned to organize IEEE inauguration in the month of February 2010 .Two Faculty members are doing Ph.D., among 12 faculty members Headed by Mr.B.Gopinath. Students are encouraged to do Mini Project in every Semester with the guidance of our Faculty Members. We Organizes Continuing Education Progrmmes , National Level Technical Conference & Renewable Energy Club regularly.

PLACEMENT FACILITIES
Our institute is having a placement cell with Placement Officers. Adequate training is provided to our students in personality, technical aptitude, basics of subjects etc for getting placement in companies. The salary range is Rs.18,000/- to 22,000/- per month. The first batch of students passed out from the institute is in 2004 – 2005.
